Packed event with 60+ representatives from local groups

Rebalancing's first ever 'Big Tent Event' took place on Friday 20 September at Bulwell Riverside. The event brought together organisations, community groups, charities and faith leaders from across Nottingham North and the wider city area to discuss plans for our community's future.
The room was packed with over 60 people taking part in discussions on Rebalancing's four key areas of work: community, health & wellbeing, employment & skills and arts & creativity.
We also heard from some recent success stories in Nottingham North - including Chris Easton from Bestwood Park Church on their Bestop Kitchen project, Evolve Nottingham on their holiday hunger project and Keiren Thompson on his Helping Kids Achieve project. We know that loads of great things are already going on locally, but the Big Tent Event was an opportunity to discuss how organisations can work together and support each other.
We will be producing a report from the event, so watch this space!
